Import your dives

Import DAN DL7 dives

DL7 is the Divers Alert Network's interchange format, and it's what several dive computer tools hand you when you ask for your raw data. It imports here directly, depth profiles included.

Getting the file

DL7 files usually come from software that talks to your dive computer:

  • Look for an export named DL7, DAN, or a file ending .zxu or .dl7 — both extensions work here.
  • If your software offers DL7 and UDDF, either is fine — see the UDDF guide for that route.

Importing it here

  1. Create a free logbook (or sign in) — importing is free on every plan, always.
  2. Open Import & export from the account menu and drop your file on the import panel.
  3. Review the preview — every dive is shown exactly as it will be saved, and nothing is written to your logbook until you confirm.

What carries over

Dive numbers, start times, maximum depths, durations, and the full depth profile your computer recorded — sample by sample, drawn as a dive profile on the dive's page. As always, the preview shows what was read before anything is saved.

After import your dives behave like any others: unit preferences apply, stats include them, and each one can become a shareable public page. Also importing from elsewhere? All the formats: Subsurface, UDDF, CSV, Excel.
